The SEO/Content Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with the Marketing/Creative team to develop original, relevant content rooted in SEO strategy for Clark Service Group, Clark Retail Solutions, and Clark Fire Protection’s digital online presence. This individual will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and evaluation of social media campaigns, blog posts, website content, and more.


DUTIES:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to create content calendars based on strategic objectives from the Marketing Director.

  • Implement the day-to-day posting on all of Clark Service Group, Clark Retail Solutions, and Clark Fire Protection’s social media platforms and websites.

  • Write blog posts and assign authors for blog posts on company sites.

  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness (e.g. influencer visits, promotions, social partnerships, etc.)

  • Actively monitor the companies’ social media accounts 24/7 to respond to comments and inquiries.

  • Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends to submit to the Marketing Director for review.

  • Serve as the company’s internal SEO expert, establishing and communicating SEO best practices and consulting on key strategy changes.

  • Use web analytics platforms and SEO tools to monitor, analyze, and optimize website activity.

  • Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization.

  • Promote a positive work environment and company culture.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Well-versed in online monitoring and measurement platforms including but not limited to Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Google Analytics, and HootSuite.

  • Experienced in search engine optimization with knowledge of SEO best practices, key performance drivers, and toolsets.

  • Strong understanding of applying marketing strategy to creative ideas and campaign activation across video, digital, mobile, social, and event marketing.

  • Experience working with websites hosted on Squarespace.

  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and juggle several assignments simultaneously.

  • Willingness to perform job duties outside of normal scope of work.

  • Minimum of 1 year SEO experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year social media management experience.
