The Parts Specialist contributes to the successful management of our extensive parts inventory at our Wilkes-Barre branch office. This individual is responsible for maintaining a stocked warehouse, fulfilling parts orders, and taking inventory. The Parts Specialist also delivers parts to technicians on site and picks up parts from vendors when necessary.


DUTIES:

  • Pull parts for technicians or customers.

  • Take inventory of parts.

  • Determine the quantity of parts necessary to purchase in order to maintain a stocked inventory.

  • Maintain the minimum and maximum stock levels for designated manufacturers.

  • Return unused stock parts from technicians to the warehouse.

  • Deliver parts to technicians, and retrieve parts from vendors.

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Branch Operations Manager.

  • Promote a positive work environment and company culture.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

  • Minimum of three years experience working with inventory.

  • Experience with computer-software systems, email, and Microsoft programs.

  • Organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Able to work independently, as well as with a team.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to push and pull up to 150lbs.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

  • Must be able to bend, squat, reach, climb, and stand throughout shift.
