Winter Restaurant Week Is Here, Across Our Service Area!

Restaurant Week is a culinary tradition pioneered in 1992 by the founder of the Zagat restaurant guides, Tim Zagat, and top restauranteur, Joe Baum. A week-long promotional event that allows food-lovers to take advantage of prix-fixe lunches and dinners, Restaurant Week was originally designed to coincide with the National Democratic Convention in New York City. Since its inception, the concept has been adopted and modified by cities and neighborhoods across the country.

The length and offerings for each Restaurant Week varies dependent on location. Typically, restaurants partner with their local tourist organizations or chambers of commerce to offer a week (or longer) of special lunch and dinner menus at a reduced price. The concept allows diners to try restaurants that may typically be out of their price range or try a new place they have never visited before. Restaurant Weeks are designed with the goal of boosting the local economy during a typically slow time of year.

Restaurant Weeks are a celebration of food, community, and local businesses, and this year our company is proud to support Baltimore Restaurant Week by sponsoring this notable event! Learn more about Baltimore Restaurant week below…
